TEC Auto Test is an automated mobile application designed for conducting airtightness tests on building envelopes and duct systems. The app facilitates wireless connection with either the DG-1000 or DG-700 pressure gauge, enabling efficient execution of airtightness assessments. It automatically collects and stores essential data from the connected gauge and flow device, augmented by manually entered building and client information, culminating in comprehensive test results presented in a PDF report format. Additionally, users can utilize location services to geotag project files, providing valuable context for testing locations.

The application generates PDF test reports, which can be conveniently viewed and shared via email or various cloud storage applications like Google Drive and Dropbox. Also, users have the capability to export complete project files that encapsulate all relevant test and building data in XML format. The app accommodates multiple airflow units, including cfm, m³/h, and l/s.

An innovative feature of the application is the Wind Assistant, which detects windy conditions and adjusts the testing parameters accordingly to enhance accuracy and consistency in results. This feature is customizable to suit user preferences.

It is noteworthy that TEC Auto Test is intended solely for use with testing equipment produced by The Energy Conservatory (TEC). The app supports an array of airtightness testing standards for building envelopes, including but not limited to ASTM E779 Multi-Point standard, RESNET 380 Multi-Point and One-Point standards, two variations of the ISO 9972 Multi-Point standard, as well as CGSB 149.10 Multi-Point standards. Furthermore, it encompasses the RESNET 380 Total Duct Leakage and Outside Duct Leakage test standards.
